I want to stay in a place which is LITERALLY at the foothills of the Acropolis, which means, I want to stay in the Historical Center.
~ Alexi's studio is in the historic Plaka area which features the Acropolis. As a matter of fact, when you walk down the side-street to Alexi's place, you can see the Acropolis and almost reach out and touch it. Click here for more information on Alexi's Studio.

There's hardly anything better than relaxing on a comfortable outdoor furniture, enjoying a glass of wine while gazing at the lit up Acropolis and Parthenon at night! I want a place IN the center of Athens REALLY CLOSE to a Metro Station .

I am going to rent a car and I need a place within Athens City where I also will have a private parking space.

I want the best bargain for Athens you've got!
~That would definently be Soula's place. The rent is 80€ (Euros) per night from October until May for up to 6 people, and 120€ per night from June until end September for 6 people. ~On the other hand, I must say that Alexandro's Family Penthouse is also a bargain. You are located in Athens City, the metro is just a quick walk away... all you have to do is get on the metro and 6 stops later (about 12-15 minute ride) you are in Monastiraki in the Historical Center. ~If you are a large group traveling together... then Hellena's Delux apartment is a really great place for you to stay as her apartment can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. Not only are her rates great, but her apartment is located in the upscale area of Panormou, 1.3 km (.8 mile) from the Historical Center. ~If you are a group of 9-12 people, then consider renting both Hellena and Tasso's places together as they are located in the same building. This way, you can all be accomodated in beautiful apartments as well as enjoy the large private garden. Also, you will be just a quick, 4 minute Metro ride to the Historical Center. A REALLY GOOD BARGAIN is Despina's condo on the sea. Not only will you stay in a beautiful, tasefully decorated home, but you will be located RIGHT on the Aegean... ~ The Car and Driver package the Ashley Villa offers is a really good deal for your money. You get a luxury villa and a taylored itinerary which takes you just about all the place you "must see". I want a place where the Greek god's themselves would stay... I'm talking LUXURY.
~ Easy answer: The Ashley Villa. It's huge, has a gorgeous pool, right on the sea so all you have to do is practically walk out the door, climb down to the cove and jump in the sea... it's close to Athens, has a car and driver service if you REALLY want to have a relaxing vacation.. and, at night, you can actually hear the waves lapping the rocks in the cove below. ~Vasiliki's Villa is also a real "luxury" place. It's a bit smaller than the Ashley Villa, and not as close to the sea but it has a large pool and beautiful sea-views. ~If romance is on your mind, then I must recommend Despina's Condo on the Sea. You can cuddle while you share a bottle of Greek wine on your private veranda overlooking the sea.. or take that bottle of wine down to the Sea RIGHT INFRONT of Despina's Condo and continue that cuddle on the Aegean cove below. Athens is a hop-skip and a jump away... car and driver services are also available if you'd like to continue that cuddle in the back-seat on the way to Delphi! If you would like to spend your holidays, hand-in-hand with your love in the shadows of the Antiquities.... if you would like to gaze into each others eyes while sipping Greek Nemea wine under the stars listening to the romantic ballads of the Bouzouki in an ancient location where many love-struck couples, 1000's of years ago, did something similar.... then Alexi's place is the place to be. I heard that Greece was famous for it's night life, so... I want to party... Party... PARTY!!!
~Well, if you would like to party but not have to worry about driving home, then I suggest staying at Alexi's, Natalie's or Kosta's place. They are all located next to some awesome bars and cool Athenian night-clubs. They are also located very near to an area of Athens called Psyri which is the really "in place" these days for clubbing and night-life. Kolonaki is also near-by and hosts quite a few "posh" "in" places... you know, the kind of places where one goes to "be seen".

~You might also like Uli's place. It's not so far from the areas I mentioned in the above paragraph... But if you plan on staying out real late, you'll have to take a taxi back to her place as the Metro shuts down at around 12:30 am and it's too far to walk... or stumble! ~OK. Given that you're not planning on driving, then I must recommend Mitsi's Family Beach Cottage. There are some POPULAR beach side night clubs around. One is right across the street on the beach which doubles as a cafeteria/restaurant during the day/evening... and a club from 11 pm on. Also, about 10 minutes walking distance away, is another very popular beach night club which is very popular with the Athenian party-goers on the weekends. If you are looking for night-life fun, you can't go wrong with Mitsi's Cottage. ~ If you are going to party, then seriously, you shouldn't even consider driving. If your definition of "partying" means just going out at night, kicking back and listening to some great music or going to the theatre, out for a late dinner and then driving back... then all the properties are suitable. I want a bargain Family get-away close to the Sea.
~ Kostantino's Family Beach Apartment is the place for you! ~If you are a 4-5 member family on holiday, then perhaps Despina's condo on the Sea is better for you. You don't need to pile everyone in the car to go swimming in the sea as the Aegean is right infront of the condo.... so for a 4 - 5 member family, it would only cost you 160€ a night for 4 people.
